Today is the winter solstice
The shortest day of the year
And it marks the start of winter
But winter has already been here!
We have so much snow already
More than we could ever ask for
It's just piling up along the streets
We hardly have room for more
This winter will be a long one
The days move long and slow
The whole city's gonna be buried
In a mountain of dirty snow
